MSA at Cappadox!
Cappadox is the definitive Cappadocia experience, a progressive multi-disciplinary cultural festival that brings a host of international and local contemporary art, music, nature and outdoor programs together.
Set in the dramatic landscape of Cappadocia in Central Anatolia, Cappadox 2017 took place between 18-21 May. Cappadox 2017 Contemporary Art section have set out with the theme “Ways Out from The World” through which diverse fields of the festival intersected with each other.
We worked in the gastronomy leg of the event with our Advanced Professional Culinary Arts Students and Professional Culinary Arts interns, with the leadership of Instructor Chefs Zeynep Canaz and Emre Ürkmez. Zeynep Canaz and her team of 4, supported the gourmet tasting event held with Levon Bağış and Nilhan Aras. Within this process, they experienced the service and kitchen operation.
Emre Ürkmez and his 12 member team supported the operation of Chef Mustafa Otar's tasting menu with the concept of Open Fire. Within the organization that took place 4 nights in a row, the whole team experienced the open fire and working with the team of a different kitchen.
