Turkey's first and only professional culinary arts academy issuing an internationally recognized diploma MSA, started the project of "Turkish Cuisine to the World Movement" last year, to introduce Turkish kitchen academically and culturally to the world. With its Ministry of National Education approval and City & Guilds accreditation, MSA is delivering since 2004 internationally recognized vocational trainings on professional culinary arts, professional pastry and bakery and professional f&b management. MSA's "Turkish Cuisine to the World Movement" was presented this time in England's important culinary school South Downs College.

70 special guests consisting of London's leader chef and f&b managers attended the dinner which is the first event to be organized by two school accredited by City & Guilds. MSA-South Downs College dinner is the first event held for sector professionals by instructor chefs in an academic environment, which is different from various activities organized to promote Turkish Cuisine internationally.

In the menu prepared by MSA instructor chefs Mürşit Göksüzoğlu and Bilge Başer with South Downs students, traditional dishes like İmambayıldı aubergines, Mücver zucchinis and Künefe dessert were reinterpreted and presented modernly by MSA; and served with different flavours like salmon pastrami and halva ice cream. During dinner, F&B Advisor Osman Serim gave explanation about the food served and delivered information about Turkish food culture, history, habits and techniques. Turkish rakı and Turkish wine were paired with the special flavours of Turkish cuisine and and the end of the dinner Turkish coffee and delight were served to the guests.

MSA realized such organization for the first time with the collaboration of South Downs College and will continue to contribute in the promotion of Turkish Cuisine in international academic and cultural platforms within 2014.
