MSA Deputy Director Mrs. Sitare Baras attended the World Food Summit-Better Food for more People organization. Within the summit, Mrs. Baras was one of the speakers alongside Chef Maksut Aşkar and Journalist Aylin Öney Tan at “Better Information” theme session, directed by Melina Shannon-DiPietro, Managing Director of MAD. The theme session is scripted in a manner that should allow for all participants to express their views on the stated target and challenges as well as the presented solutions all along the way and we encourage you to participate in the debate as much as you wish – the idea of the theme session is after all to shed light on as many different views as possible in order for us to explore the topic in-depth and not least to identify new solutions. Mrs. Baras’s points were on the questions; “How can culinary education be a supporting factor in creating healthy eating habits? What is the role of culinary tradition?”.
